Here is a small taste of the Gospel Fest 2019 at Central Congregational Church of Galesburg Hosted by @The Rock Apostolic Community Church and Naacp Galesburg

Starting this Sunday at noon, come learn what The Rock ACC is all about at our Foundational Church class. Learn our mission statement, our beliefs, and our story. It's at noon downstairs in the class room. Come in the main doors off of broad, and we'll guide you to the room. Then afterwards, come hear the Word, as Pastor Rodney P Grimes brings the Word of God every Sunday at 1 pm.

Bible study tonight at 630pm. 60 public square. Come in through the Simmons st entrance. This is our new book series. Starting next Tuesday.

August 18th, 2018. Mark this date. It's the day that we become the Change we want to see, They say #bethechange, here it is. 9 artists from hip hop to metal to southern rock, all Jesus Centered music. Cost is just $10 (suggested but not required) The important details When- August 18, 2018 from 1p -10pm Where- Standish Park- Galesburg Il, (Tompkins st by City Hall) How (much)- Free will offering (suggested $10) Who- The Rock and KWAKE presents this inaugural event What- The Beginning of being a light in our community, and let others know that we are going to #bethechange.

Pastor Grimes was able to present at check to Gale Elementary School. Gale students graciously presented “Who am I?” at the Black History Month Gospel Fest. Thank you Gale students for your service! Can’t wait to see your performance next year!

Here is today's scripture for the day Philippians 2:1-11 King James Version (KJV) 2 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
